Cash Product Manager – UAE Nationals Preferred
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
This position is required to sustain the growth, enhance optimization initiatives, product rollouts and support Risk & Controls related initiatives for UAE TTS Cash business. The individual will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of Balance Sheet, control drivers, product rollouts
The key priorities are around the following themes which the applicant is expected to be delivering for the business:
Execute business strategy to support organic growth targets
Deliver financial commitments– drive a balanced scorecard and focus on self run initiatives which lead to P&L growth
Grow the underlying business drivers – maximizing returns while controlling risks
Partner with PDS, Operations & Technology to assure product delivery within standards and to reengineer existing products to gain efficiency and market expansion
Share best practices across geographies.
Facilitate and conduct relevant trainings for TTS as well as extended Banking partners to ensure full alignment to common objectives and priorities for the business
Maintain a robust control on all Risk & Governance related elements for UAE Cash business
Support overall Cash management agenda across for UAE Treasury & Trade Solutions, to drive product commercialization, revenue and balance sheet management initiatives
Lead risk and control related initiatives for the UAE TTS team
Monitor performance drivers for the product portfolio including client experience, pricing
Represent customer needs and provide strategic direction on product development features, functionality and overall competitiveness
Partner closely with sales/ coverage teams to identify client opportunities & meet with prospective clients to size new opportunities.
Shape and implement performance improvement strategies, with a specific focus on development of competitive analyses, market analyses, product development road maps, market plans, pricing strategies and product line extensions
Champion change by leading innovation through Partnerships and Alliances to quicken time to market and revenue
Keep abreast of important developments in financial market infrastructure
Performing regular market research across internal and external customers to evaluate market trends requirements and competitor analysis
Gathers market intelligence and develops sophisticated market sizing studies to identify the attractiveness of particular markets segments and product offerings
Defines and analyze sector trends, opportunities and issues, and creates business cases to drive investment decisions.
Develops and enhances Product Approval Programs and related processes, ensure products are delivered and adhere to all parameters globally
Minimum 5 years experience in Financial services or Corporate Treasury
Exceptional speaking and written communication skills
Prior product management experience preferred
Excellent Analytical and Problem solving skills
Project Management skills and ability to manage to deadlines
Excellent internal peer management skills
Knowledge of P&L and portfolio management
Proficient in Excel, Macros, to enable creating models for balance sheet costing related elements
Sound understanding of credit, interest rate, liquidity, operational, reputation, strategic and compliance risks
Demonstrate a full appreciation for product launch best practice, product risk management
A successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of problem solving with limited supervision and interacting with senior partners within our product, across business lines and with our control functions
Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
