Summary
Administration

  • To ensure that personnel/Official records are maintained accurately and efficiently
    People Skills
  • To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  • To provide excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.To be familiar with the hotel’s products and services and policies.
  • To handle media relations and head public relations for any query that may arise.
  • To maintain positive colleague interactions with good working relationships.

Financial

  • To ensure that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
  • Approving/supporting of Marketing billing and invoicing needs for Grand Hyatt Dubai

Strategic

  • To work closely with the Hotel Digital strategy team and planning to support overall hotel marketing goals.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Grand Hyatt Dubai for all marketing-related queries
  • To develop and implement a long-term marketing strategy for all aspects surrounding the Grand Hyatt Dubai complex, including Hotel, F&B, Spa, Events, Exhibition Center, Megaplex and the upcoming Waterpark.
  • Overall accountability of targeted return on investment or objective are over-achieved based on past performance and also in-line with expectations.
  • Lead the content strategy for Grand Hyatt Dubai and ensure that assets are in-line with brand standards and sufficiently available for any marketing initiative planned.
  • To build network of PR- and media-related decision makers, entertain them at the hotel and maintain regular contact to maximize exposure of hotel communication.
  • Co-ordination with Hyatt Divisional/Corporate office for any Global Marketing directions.

Other Duties

  • To attend and contribute to all training sessions and meetings as required.
  • To exercise responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.
  • To read the hotel’s Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.
  • To ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
  • To respond to changes in the Human Resources function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Marketing Manager in a larger operation.
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
