Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Assist the Leasing Director in collecting, organising, and analysing market intelligence data
Understand the Leasing Objectives and proactively search for data, information, material to facilitate the delivery of the objectives
Prepare presentations based on the agreed criteria and proactively look for new ways to analyse the market to support the strategy
Assist in the preparation of leasing strategy documents
Represent the team by attending internal and external meetings, taking minutes of meetings, running follow up activities to maintain a continuous connection with tenants and relevant internal stakeholders
Thoroughly manage relationships with current and potential tenants, ensuring enquiries are handled promptly and site visits are duly organised for potential tenants.
Assist in collating the information from other BU functions to provide inputs to feasibility studies including estimated rental value and potential tenant mix.
Prepare regular leasing activity reports with the guidance of the Director Leasing and the status of each negotiations held with potential tenants.
Assist in data provision to Lease Contract Management as and when requested
Prepare and generate all Lease deals in CRM based on the approved and agreed lease terms with the retailers (CRM ownership).
Collect all pertinent and valid legal documents from the tenants such as Trade License, Commercial Registration, Insurance Certificate, Owner’s ID etc…. to ensure the legality of the tenant.
Review the final acceptance from the client on the Lease Agreement document to ensure that there is no ambiguity in the acceptance of the terms and conditions stated in the formal lease agreement and that there is complete clarity between the Company & the tenant’s commitment with regards to the agreement.
Maintain accurate filing of all Lease deals related information and agreement (both physical and on system e.g. Yardi / CRM / MRI and/or SharePoint etc.)
Ensure compliance with the MAFP SMBU’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times.
Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values in the assigned area of responsibility and ensure that it is adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.
Personal Characteristics and Required Background:
Minimum 2-5 years’ work experience in similar work environment preferably in reputed Retail / Real Estate companies in GCC
Fluency in English language
Excellent Microsoft Application skills
Minimum Qualifications/education (not exclusive)
Bachelor degree in Commerce / Business Administration or equivalent
