Treasury Systems Manager | Retail | Corporate Head Office

Role Summary
The primary duties of the Treasury Systems Manager involve acquiring, identifying, creating, and managing connections with crucial financial institutions within the relevant geography. These connections are necessary for maintaining, implementing, and reporting on Treasury Systems, Tools, and Payment channels on a regional scale. The manager will also explore options for cash and card collections solutions. Additionally, the role includes staying updated on the regulatory and financial landscape

Role Profile
Oversee the functioning, maintenance, and reporting of treasury systems
Administer user access, functional privileges, and troubleshoot the treasury management system (TMS) both internally and externally
Stay updated on advancements in banking systems and take necessary actions to mitigate their impact
Gain insight into liquidity flow patterns, volumes, and devise strategies to generate additional value
Investigate options for secure automated collections and cash recycling through SCDM (Secure Cash Deposit Machines)
Assess agreements related to CIT (cash-in-transit) and scdm services, and identify operational risks
Coordinate notional pooling structures to maximize returns and optimize financial performance.
Promptly report any events that could disrupt the company’s operations
Utilize advanced tools to develop and compile reports and presentations
Prepare periodic reports for management, emphasizing key developments, risks, and statistical data.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business / economics / finance / mathematics / statistics
5 years of experience in a similar role
3+ years in retail business is preferred
Strong knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS) and their functionalities, such as cash management, payments, banking interfaces, and reporting.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements related to treasury operations.
Demonstrates a high level of intelligence, mathematical aptitude, and critical thinking.
Exhibits effective communication and presentation skills
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve system issues promptly
