Currently, we are looking for a passionate and energetic Operations Coordinator to be based in the Road Freight. In this role, the successful candidate will facilitate international road transportation for dedicated Danzas business units and standalone cross border movements by coordinating with internal stakeholders in Contract Logistics / Customer service or directly with the customers in line with the agreed SOPs and regulatory compliance to ensure the best customer experience.

He / She will be responsible to liaise with Danzas authorized vendors, transit and destination clearing agents and customers for the timely pick up or delivery of shipments, update time stamps, costing in PaaS and accurate invoicing by using LT/LV job types.

Key Responsibilities
Coordination and planning of the movements as per instructions received from internal & external stakeholders.
Select the service providers as per the supplier selection process and book the trucks in advance with the suppliers for on time collection.
Optimum utilization of trucks by consolidating as per cargo parameters ensuring safe handling.
Adherence to product / customer SOP’s and ISO standards.
Planning and managing of resources effectively
Periodic supplier evaluation to ensure service quality and to mitigate external risk factors.
Notify the destination clearing agents prior to arrivals of the shipments and arrange necessary documents / approvals in advance to avoid any clearance delays
Liaise with transit and destination clearing agents to release the shipments within the agreed transit time, share the pre bayans & final bayans with the customers for the records
Join with supplier performance review meetings to manage the vendors and KPIs set in place with the vendors.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining cash flow / IOU. Collection of cash / cheque for COD shipments and submission to finance within the stipulated time and to keep the records for all transactions.
Real time capture of all time stamps to achieve product defined KPI’s, update customer reports / time stamps in the system.
Implement and prioritize emergency and contingency plan on unexpected situations ( surge in volumes, special movements, system down time and others)
Update SharePoint Tracker and collect all PODs after delivery within the KPI time.
If required, support Road Freight pricing team to submit the RFQs on time.

Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
2-3 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing & distribution operations
Knowledge of freight forwarding business
Good administration and communication skills
Extensive knowledge about classification of vehicles, capacity utilization and good geographical understanding
Excellent individual performer and team player
Proficient in MS office
