What You Will Do

As a Project Manager for Trimble, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of professional services through release to customers across multiple product offerings with the SketchUp organization. You will work effectively within our existing Agile organization and with stakeholders to define and track project schedules, drive execution across multiple functional/organizational teams, apply risk management as necessary, and ultimately help ensure the successful release of projects. Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Collaborate to build and develop common PMO processes, tools, and project governance to be leveraged on selected projects.
  • Define and report on key metrics for assessing the status of projects that become a part of the visibility to key stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of multiple, concurrent projects and drive software development projects according to the development lifecycle
  • Manage and define release schedules across multiple projects and teams
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams on current and future projects.
  • Collaborate with the agile team that is responsible for planning and executing Program Increments within the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Drive effective collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across all functional business areas.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • A minimum of 2 years leading project/program management teams with a proven track record of delivering successful
  • cross-functional projects
  • Demonstrated experience with project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques,
  • processes, tools, and approaches
  • Demonstrated experience with release management
  • Solid organizational skills, results driven, and attention to detail

What Skills & Experience You Could Bring

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

  • At least 2 years experience working with software engineering delivery or PMO/Engineering Operations
  • Experience in SAFe/Agile development environment
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence
