Job Overview:

As our Database/Website Content Editor, you will work as part of a small team providing ongoing maintenance, development and quality assurance of Luckins database and other Trimble MEP content.

You will work closely with internal and client stakeholders, where you will capture details of and images of Trimble MEP products and upload them on to our product database. You will manage all database content, ensuring that it is all in the same uniform format and has the correct product description and code and categories assigned to each product.

Because of the nature of our products, an excellent eye for detail is essential in this position along with reasonable IT literacy and ideally experience using the Adobe suite of Software. You do not need Trimble product knowledge as that training will be provided in house.

Being curious, having excellent time-management skills and having the ability to focus on your work is desirable as this position will evolve over time and as our MEP business grows.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain product information in the Luckins database and other systems according to defined schedules and priorities.
  • Source and manipulate product images for LuckinsLive and customer applications.
  • For those who have been trained and/or show an interest in learning, if necessary, create product images for LuckinsLive and customer applications
  • Produce consistent and accurate content in line with in-house standards and customer quality requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain required data in a useable format and timely manner and record all contact with suppliers.
  • Assess the current status of Information Provider’s product ranges and provide quantitative reports to the Account Management Team and customers in the agreed formats.
  • Liaise with the Account Management Team or directly with Information Providers as appropriate to ensure any data queries are quickly and accurately resolved.
  • Review data gathering/enhancement work carried out by contracted agencies and provide relevant feedback for training purposes.
  • Undertake one-off content development and QA projects as required.
  • Maintain a full understanding of all appropriate database content systems including in-house and third party systems/content maintenance tools, and provide feedback and input based on experience into the development of those systems.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research capabilities with the curiosity & creativity to identify and assign data
  • It Literate with experience of Microsoft Office and Adobe software packages
  • CRM experience (Salesforce.com a plus – reports and dashboards)
  • Experience with common research tools like SWOT analysis, balanced scorecard, etc.
  • Collaborative attitude – ability to work with internal teams and clients
  • Enjoys learning – passionate about understanding customer problems
  • Ideally experience of website or database administration
