Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently inviting applications for a Expeditor with experience in the oil and gas industry for our team in Dubai.

Job Objective
Responsible for the desk expediting of purchase orders to ensure that they are delivered/ready for
collection within project schedule/purchase order terms.

Key Accountabilites and Responsiblities
Creation of daily expediting reports in materials management system
Daily desk expediting of purchase orders
Understands the supplier delivery obligations form the terms and conditions of purchase
Ability to interpret supplier production plans to identify improvement opportunities and negotiate
delivery improvements
Updating of materials management system with the expediting status of Purchase Orders
Continually set expediting follow up dates in materials management system
Issue expediting progress reports and update system accordingly
Notifying Senior Expeditor / Supply Chain Manager of any potential schedule slippages
Maintain an auditable file of all relevant expediting documentation for each purchase order in
relevant shared drive / area
Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices
Understands and lives Woods vision, values and behaviours
Understands and works to the Wood Financial Management Framework

Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications, Knowledge
Bachelors degree or Equivalent education
Minimum 5 years expediting experience delivering results
Detailed knowledge of Suppliers and Expediting Status Reporting
Awareness of supplier production schedules
Understanding of how terms and conditions of purchase influence delivery requirements
Experienced in the use of ERP’s such as Maximo, Oracle, SAP.
