Rubis Energy Ethiopia Ltd PLC (formerly Kobil Ethiopia Ltd PLC) wants to recruit for the following vacant position of Operations Assistant.
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Operations Assistant, under the supervision of the Operations Manager, is responsible for assisting the overall operations department functions. The job holder is required to play a major role for effective and efficient performance of the department.
MAJOR DUTIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: –
- Managing all company’s logistics including transportation, distribution, and maintenance.
- Ensuring that fuel stocks movement to and from the various depots/terminals/service stations are appropriately accounted.
- Ensuring maintenance calls are attended in good time.
- Supervising works of contractors to ensure that works are performed according to contracts and standards.
- Managing stocks of lubricants, bitumen, petrochemical, LPG, cylinders, pumps and spare parts in warehouses i.e. maintaining records of new imports and raise GRN, ensuring that all loadings/dispatches to customers are done with a valid approved order, conducting daily and monthly inventory counts of store items and do the necessary reconciliation with the relevant department.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRMENTS
- B.Sc in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or any related field from a recognized University
- 1 year of experience in related field.
- Ability to work in a team under strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
