About your job:

You will be part of corporate support team providing first and second level service support to QR Employees based in Qatar. You will be responsible for end user equipment installation, maintenance, pro-active monitoring, troubleshooting on all systems. You will support various functions related to IT across Qatar Airways Group. You will identify the nature of the problem, run diagnostic tools to resolve problems and then follow-up with end users to ensure the issue has been resolved.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure all the service request & incidents is acknowledged and quality solution is provided either onsite or remotely after reviewing & analysing the request within service level agreement.
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed as per established Organisation processes.
  • Ensuring the endpoints are compliant to the cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Provide accurate information on IT products and services with highest level of end user satisfaction.
  • Ability to document the solution properly and share the knowledge across the teams.
  • Prepare and share ticket status reports
  • Achieve SLAs for resolution on incidents and service request

Qualifications

About You:

We are looking for someone who has customer facing experience with friendly presence and helpful attitude. Fluent in written and verbal English language. Bilingual would be an added advantage. Excellent interpersonal skill, multi-tasking and work in collaboration with other team members under any circumstances. You must work in shiftss which is based on business needs with process oriented approach to address issues and user problems.

You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Sciences or equivalent stream with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical support, preferably in an IT services industry and diverse work environment. IT industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSE & ITIL Certification (Foundation course) will be an added advantage.

You should be well versed with troubleshooting techniques of Windows desktop OS, MAC OS, MS Office Suite, Print services, Antivirus, etc. You should possess high level of cybersecurity and related threat awareness.
