Job Overview:

Do you have a BSc and want to work as a Trainee Study Manager within Pharmacokinetics, Metabolism?

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and proper action on all aspects of the study plans for studies assigned in a fast paced environment
  • Taking ownership of the day to day organization, analysis and reporting of various studies
  • Preparation of study plans, data and reports to high scientific standards within agreed timeframes and complete integrity
  • Conducting technical and scientific procedures with appropriate training and supervision
  • Maintaining an up to date knowledge of technical, scientific and regulatory developments related to pharmacokinetics
  • Maintaining GLP, A(SP)A and HSE compliance throughout all areas of responsibility
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in order to reduce costs and / or improve efficiency, productivity and scientific standards

Education/Qualifications:

Degree (BSc or equivalent) in Pharmacology; Chemistry, Biological Sciences or related discipline

Experience:

  • The ability to problem solve and work with changing priorities in a challenging environment
  • The ability to work to a consistently high standard whilst meeting deadlines
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience of working effectively as a Study Manager to Good Laboratory Practice standards preferred
  • This role could be suitable for a graduate
