Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Project Architect to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This position is for an experienced, registered design professional who have managed projects of large-scale and broad range of functions through all design stages. from initiation, concept validation, schematic design to technical development and construction documents.

Responsibilities
We envisage success in this role to include;
Planning, organising and directing the design activities through the entire project cycle.
Presenting as the technical point of contact and lead Client communications.
Overseeing the design development and technical coordination between disciplines, stakeholders, subconsultants, and manage the design process.
Assessing the project requirements, breaks the project down into tasks and works with the Project Manager to determine the scope of works, budget and staffing.
Preparing technical architectural coordinated packages in accordance with the project brief and basis of design.
Guiding architecture team members productively assuring quality and efficiency for assigned tasks and deliverables.
Strong capabilities in conducting technical assessments, value engineering and quality assurance reviews, with attention to details.
Experience in dealing with local authorities for compliance aspects and submissions approvals.
Full familiarity with international design standards, local codes such as ADIBC, UAE F&LS, etc.
Knowledge in sustainable design principles and capacity to drive sustainability focused discussions with client and teams.
Experience submitting BIM based projects.
Establishing and following an effective and efficient design review process to ensure that the design meets the overall goals and objectives of the project.
Assisting Director in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural design and drafting staff.

Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years’ work experience partnered with a Bachelor of Architecture.

Registered engineer in Abu Dhabi Municipality and Knowledge of local government requirements and procedures in Abu Dhabi. Membership status with Association of License Architect will be viewed favorably (RIBA, AIA).

This is a technical position where we are seeking a candidate whom can demonstrate previous ability to manage a team and end to end project delivery.

Fulfilling a similar team leadership role for the last 5 years will be highly regarded and BIM competency partnered with an excellent understanding of all technical aspects.

Strong competency in use of design software’s – Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, & In-Design.
