What will you be doing
As a Senior Account Manager you will be part of the CSM Middle East team, taking a leading role on one of our biggest accounts. The role would see you working with one of our client’s partnerships in football. You will take an important role in the day-to-day relationship between CSM and the client, be responsible for client account management, and manage discussions related to the client’s sponsorship strategy, the role it plays for them as a business and how that translates into activation delivery for their current sponsorships. Reporting into the Account Director, you will act as an extension to the client’s team and will need to manage multiple stakeholders, including partnerships, marketing, and communications. You will need a great understanding of Asian Football as you assume a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of the partnership.

You will be part of our Brands team, and will be based in the UAE (with remote and flexible working options, as well as some time working out of the client offices). You will work with colleagues across the Middle East and will need to travel occasionally between KSA & UAE and other countries in the region as required. You will report into an experienced Account Director, and will have good working relationships with CSM’s Regional Directors.

Your key responsibilities will include:
•Leading the relationship with the client, and developing relationships with key contacts within the client’s in-house delivery teams. Some additional support across other Saudi clients.
•Effectively leading regular project and status meetings with the client and update meetings internally within CSM, together with overseeing regular client documentation, project management
•Leading on client strategy updates and project planning (together with AD and team)
•Development and management of project timelines, budget management, invoicing, task tracking and other relevant supplementary account documents
•Manage internal and external ideation sessions and creative development
•Support the relationships and management of internal stakeholders, rights holders & suppliers
•Support team in implementation of all aspects of the account touch points including; general rights delivery, live event delivery, digital & social strategies, PR & Comms and guest management

Join client in-house meetings as required, and provide subject matter expertise where needed. Work with the AD to collaborate across other parts of the wider CSM business to ensure best possible client servicing

Administration
•Lead client meetings as required and ensure completion of agreed actions
•Create and present client-facing and internal presentations as required
•Manage the setting of client KPIs, evaluation, and other client reporting
•Make adjustments to strategy documents and project delivery documents as required, and present updates to the client
•Oversee account budget management and ensure reasonable deadlines are met

The Skills & Experience you will need
•University graduate
•Fluency in English, written and spoken. Arabic beneficial.
•A clear passion for sports / football
•4+ years’ experience in Sports Marketing / Account Management
•Client-facing experience within the Middle East region (UAE and/or KSA) is beneficial, but not essential.
•Presentation skills
•Strong experience in account management and strategic planning
•Ability to manage teams and projects
•Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities with tight deadlines
•Proven ability to prioritise and manage your time efficiently
•Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
•Outstanding written and oral communications skills, attention to details
•Solution-focused and hands on approach to account management
