What will you be doing
As an Account Executive you will be part of the CSM Middle East team, assuming a pivotal role on one of our biggest accounts. The role would see you working with one of our client’s partnerships in football, where you will take an important role in the day-to-day relationship between CSM and the client, be responsible for client account management, and manage discussions related to the client’s sponsorship strategy, the role it plays for them as a business and how that translates into activation delivery for their current sponsorships. Reporting into the Account Director, you will act as an extension to the client’s team and will need to manage multiple stakeholders, including partnerships, marketing, and communications. You will need a great understanding of Asian Football as you assume a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of the partnership.

You will be part of our Brands team, and will be based in the UAE (with remote and flexible working options, as well as some time working out of the client offices). You will work with colleagues across the Middle East and will need to travel occasionally between KSA & UAE and other countries in the region as required. You will report into an experienced Communications Manager and Account Director, and will have good working relationships with CSM’s Regional Directors.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Client / Account Management
•Efficient meeting management, preparation and write up of notes and actions
•Effective management of regular project and status meetings with clients (and external agencies where relevant)
•Effective management of own relationships with suppliers, all agencies, clients and partners
•Assistance with content creation, brand merchandise and toolkits
•Assistance with financial elements of accounts – budgeting, PO’s, supplier invoicing/cost management
•Supporting approvals process
•Event activation – involved in all aspects of the events from venue sourcing, staffing, branding, to creative execution, on-site support and main point of contact for suppliers

Administration
•Assist in client meetings as required and ensure completion of agreed actions
•Create and present client-facing and internal presentations as required
•Manage the setting of client KPIs, evaluation, and other client reporting
•Make adjustments to strategy documents and project delivery documents as required, and present updates to the client

The Skills and Experience you will need
•University graduate
•Fluency in English, written and spoken. Arabic beneficial.
•A clear passion for sports / football
•Experience working on large global brands is preferred, but not essential
•Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities with tight deadlines
•Good communication skills – verbal and written
•Creative thinking
•Attention to detail
•Knowledge of, and passion for, sport is a bonus
•Open to feedback from clients and colleagues
