Overview of the role:
The primary focus of the role will be to assist the Dealer Principal to promote GAC new car retail sales through GAC showroom, driving retail sales and increasing the proportion of retail sales. The showroom manager will provide a major support to the Dealer Principal in the daily operations of the showroom.
What you will do:
Achievement of showroom monthly sales targets for GAC new cars and GAC used cars.
Grow the retail business to reduce the ratio of fleet.
Managing monthly CSI (customer satisfaction index) scores.
Utilization of FastTrack.
Ensure the showroom is representative of the GAC brand.
Control of demo cars to ensure these are used effectively to help close sales, are always in acceptable condition and are sold at the appropriate time.
Minimize in-house credit risk by ensuring correct documentation is submitted and assisting credit department with collections when necessary.
Required Skills to be successful:
1.- 5 years’ automotive sales experience.
2. – Upselling skills and ability to create value from new products.
3. – Written and spoken communication skills.
4. – Strong negotiation skills, with evident ability to influence customer choices.
About the Team:
Reporting to the Dealer Principal and will have 8 direct reports Sales executives (new and used cars), Used Car Supervisor, Receptionist, Admin and Drivers.
What equips you for the role:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
5 years Automotive Sales experience, at least 3 of those in a management position of a large showroom. Negotiation and influencing skills, ability to build strong customer relationships, conflict resolution, ability to think clearly under pressure, ability to take decisions and follow through and strong team player.
Valid Qatar driver’s license.
