Position Description
Job Title: Junior Architect
Reporting Into: Design Manager
Direct Reports: N/A
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Job Objective:
To work alongside the Lead/Senior Designer and develop designs throughout all design phases. Responsible for completion of full project drawing packages and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:
Production of plans, elevation, and detail drawings using AutoCAD for architecture, interiors, FF&E layouts, finish plans, architectural detailing, basic lighting, and basic joinery.
Production of detailed technical drawing packages for interior requirements.
Site study and preparation of plans.
Site visits, surveys, and preparations of As-built drawings.
Preparation of renders using the sketch-up models and 3D Max with Vray.
Completion of basic design BOQ, materials specifications, and calculation of quantities. Preparation of schedules.
Completion of all necessary paperwork and following Arena Standard Operating Procedures.

Technical
Knowledge or experience with Sketch Up Pro, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D Max, and Vray Revit is an advantage.
Knowledge of new market styles and designs and ability to communicate that through designs.
