We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Electrical Technical Office Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers in our project in Habata Airbase Facilities (Office based), Cairo, Egypt

Role Summary:
You will perform cost estimation and tender evaluation study for new tender projects, in addition to assisting and supporting of currently awarded projects.
What you will need to do:
Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ and coordinate with procurement and nominated vendors.
Review and check all electrical drawings and cross check it with related civil drawings to identify and order the embedded items.
Quantity surveying for all electrical equipment and materials
Prepares estimates of projects or parts of projects for a specific discipline based on the available documents
Prepare purchases requisitions required during tender stage and for awarded projects based on design project requirements and quantities take off for all electrical materials and equipment.
Prepares and checks the Bills of Quantity for electrical materials and equipment as required.
Performs any other related duties as assigned

What you will need to have:
Four (4) – six (6) years of experience in tender estimation and technical evaluation study, preferably in Egyptian army high grade projects and buildings.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Previous experience in tender estimation and technical evaluation for different electrical systems (Low voltage and light current) is required.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft office applications and also AutoCAD / Revit is a plus.
Strong knowledge and awareness with the local market.
Team worker, cope with pressure, to-do mindset.
What it is nice to have:
Previous experience with Egyptian Army projects would be nice to have
Revit user

Is able to work both independently and as team leader, exercising professional judgment and coordination skills
Has excellent organizational skills
