About the Role:
To look after the day to day running of the section and ensure that all standards in stock, display and service are met.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that all cash tills are ready for trade at all times and that they are suitably manned in order to deliver effective customer service
Responsible for preparing duty schedules for cashiers and general helpers
Supervise the day to day operations within the cash department that includes handling customer issues and refund queries
Ensure that all cashiers are able to deliver timely customer service and support them with barcodes, price corrections and over writings
Promptly handle any queue issues and address any customer queries and complaints
Generate daily stock reports that include service cards, gift cards, vouchers and warranty cards and discuss the reports with the safe room associate
Coordinate with the information technology and maintenance teams for point of sale updates and repairs using the weekly checkout document
Monitor staff on hygiene, grooming and uniform and ensure that they are carrying their ID badge
Conduct periodic inventory count of support items, such as jute bags, as needed and report any anomalies to the cash manager
Ensure that all set standard operating procedures are strictly adhered too
Ensure that staff are actively selling loyalty programs at all point of sales

Required Skills & Qualifications:
At least 2-3 years of relevant Experience in retail market and knows how to handle/operate cash register and manage team.
At least Graduate or Diploma
Sensible & smart in communication and problem solving skills
Flexible and capable to manage team and work pressure
