Roles and responsibilities:
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
- Write technical documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from a recognized university in any of the following disciplines: computer science, computer engineering, Information technology, health informatics, and other related fields.
- Must have 2 years relevant experience.
- Willingness to learn and to be coached by consultants
Preferred qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Familiarity with common stacks, Preferably MERN stack
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries i.e. HTML5/ CSS, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g. Angular, React,) preferably React Js
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. PHP, C#, Java, Python),
- Expert in at least one of backend frameworks like, Laravel, Django preferably Node Js
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache)
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Familiarity with UI/UX design and prototyping tools like Figma, XD
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiar with agile development and DevOps Experience with Open-Source platforms/frameworks/systems such as Linux, Apache frameworks, MySQL and Postgre SQL is a plus
