• Upholding the vision and mission of the school, ensuring that students enjoy their learning in a safe environment
• Implementing and monitoring appropriate academic, moral and inclusive curricula for the school
• Ensuring that the progress of each student is assessed, recorded, reported and supported by feedback and follow up
• Demonstrating strong presence in section’s activities, maintaining close contact with parents and community, ensuring highest quality of pastoral care that focuses on the well-being of every student.
• Coordinating with lower and higher sections and other schools in the group to explore positively and identify areas of mutual benefit leading to further co-operation; like sharing of super teachers.
• Coordinating with the senior leadership team across all 3 campuses to evaluate impact of academic activities and student outcomes and to develop SIP & SEF.
• Ensuring the school’s Safeguarding Policy is promulgated and properly administered, and safeguarding arrangements are subject to constant review and evaluation

• Master’s degree in a subject relevant to the post
• Teaching qualification
• Any further professional qualification
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Qualification/Certification linked to leadership and management.
• Training in Distance Learning from recognised e-learning providers.
• Evidence of continuing professional development /training relating to school leadership & management
• An excellent understanding of what constitutes teaching for effective learning as well as effective assessment framework
• Well demonstrated background in effective school improvement planning and the school self-evaluation process.
