Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Review master’s reports and completion of bridge and chief officer’s logbooks and issue the necessary recommendation in subsidiary Vessels.
- Follow-up maintenance program and deck division repairs in ports and in dry-docking in cooperation with engineer superintendent in subsidiary vessels.
- Responsible for purchasing the navigation publication and charts necessary for subsidiary Vessels
- Timely raising of Purchase Requisitions related to contracts in accordance with the Contract Purchasing Procedure
- Defining training needs for vessels crews in subsidiary vessels
- Provides the training activities with training aids
- Follow up the training records
- Deputize of Marine Logistics Superintendent when absent
- One of the party of management review meeting for the evaluation of the company safety management system
- One of the emergency parties.
- To replace any of the tug’s Master in case of any shortage
- To work at any of the projects sites as per the operations needs.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
- Candidates must be from Dredging and Reclamation background.
- A well-established and proven track record of in Marine field in a ship board senior post and discipline
- To have an offshore experience prefers to be within GCC.
- Prepare documentation relating to his sector
- Reporting accidents and non – conformities with the provisions of SMS
- Signing any internal memo / letters concerning.
