To support this challenge, Syngenta’s HR Operations Team is currently seeking a Regional HR Operations Manager.
This is a key role managing HR Administration for Syngenta Region North America for Canada and the US. This role partners with global colleagues, HR Business Partners, and other HR functions to strategize and move forward continuous improvement and employee experience initiatives. This role oversees and manages both on and offshore service teams in support of our employee base. 

Accountabilities

Manage the operations, processes, and vendors associated with HR Administration, Master Data Management, Global Mobility, and Domestic Relocation Manage the service for HR Administration to include: oversight of Capgemini HR Administration team based in the Kolkata Service Center, vendor management for unemployment claims, vendor management for New Joiner administration, manage the work verification I9 program, vendor, and process, and point of contact for issues and escalations with vendors, HR Administration process, and Aconso electronic employee filing system Manage service for corporate relocation to include: vendor relationship, issue escalation mitigation, collaboration with relocation policy owner, regular service reviews, provide quarterly relocation budget updates to cost center owners Oversee work of regional Global Mobility operations to include: company signatory for visa and green card applications, implement continuous improvements in regional global mobility processes, and associated employee relations associated with international movers Prepare report for and lead monthly meetings with regional and global HR Operations Managers Manage employee data management and provide advice and guidance to HR Business Partners in the area of organizational management from a systems, compliance and administration perspective Lead Continuous Improvement CI processes for process and technology changes; champion and implement changes within region Manage the daily work and performance of a team of analysts who support the operations of HR Administration and People & Organizational Development POD Center of Expertise Manage responses to audit requests by internal and external auditors and ensure all evidence provided to auditors is restricted to non-confidential information. Own the responsibility of ensuring Syngenta’s compliance with all State and Federal employment law requirements Participate and lead projects within region including acquisitions Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve

Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required for this position A minimum of 5 years of experience working in an HR Operations organization Must have strong knowledge in HR employment law and compliance

Preferred Requirements

Experience working with external vendors that provide an HR service Understanding organizational management and employee data concepts Knowledge of HR Administration processes to include position and employee data changes Experience with HR systems Workday, Service Now, Aconso, Smart Recruiter Experience managing a team Experience in system/process enhancements and continuous improvement
