Job Description
We are currently looking for API and Kafka Engineers for our Qatar operations with the following skill sets and terms & conditions.
Required Experience:
Minimum 4 years of proven work experience as implementing API gateway and data streaming
Minimum 4 years of proven work experience of large-scale Spring Boot/Java projects, experience with REST/GRP

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITES
Essential Functions:
- Development and Maintenance experience of 5+ years in micro-services framework environments as: Spring Boot
- Experience of at least one project with Apache Kafka
- Experience in Git and source code branching patterns (Feature Branch and Reviewed Commits experience is a must),
- Experience of CI/CD pipelines in the context of Containers/Kubernetes.
- Experience in Maven and an affinity for maven projects
- Writing unit test cases is an absolute necessity
- Experience in Open telemetry
- Good Knowledge of Code coverage, code quality and secure coding
Design and Engineering:
Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) micro-services related
Knowledge in Event Driven Architectures
Experience in GraphQL, Restful API design principles
Way of working
Experience in practicing Scrum framework and ability to work profoundly with Azure DevOps
Ability to communicate with the tech team, product team and business stakeholders
Ability for elaborate technical documentation reflecting the patterns related with the developments under her/his domain fulfilling business problems to solve
Functional and Business understanding
Nice to have
Experience in banking sector
Documentation skills
JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY
As a Software Engineer the expectation is evaluate with Business Analysts and Heads of IT the context of the different initiatives, providing proper solutions to be reusable over the time. As part of Software Engineering practice is implement those solutions under functional Domains, being a key actors in the transformational exercise of the Bank. As key aspect of this position is think on functional, development and looking forward in aspects for sustainable and operable environment based on DevOps principles
