PERI Qatar, a leading international company in Qatar in the area of formwork, scaffolding and engineering are looking for individuals that have an in-depth and practical understanding of formwork & scaffolding and construction materials to fill the position as Operations Manager.

• Improving and maintaining the operational performance of PERI Qatar
• Improvement of subsidiary’s profitability through optimization, increase of efficiency and cost management along the operational and logistics processes.
• Functional responsibility for Demand Planning, Customer Service Management, Yard Operations, Freight Management, Procurement and Health and Safety.
• Responsible for implementation, execution and optimization of reverse logistics processes (e.g.,inbound, maintenance, outbound) and material management processes.
• Ensuring integration of operations and material planning into financial planning process.
• Monitoring, measuring and steering of operations performance based on defined KPIs and benchmarking.
• Working closely with functional heads/managers (e.g., Sales, Technical, Finance) to ensure consistent, efficient and working practices in meeting customer expectations.
• Responsibility for quality of Inventory and Rental Stock in compliance with PERI Rental Criteria.
• Planning of human resources, establish organizational structures, delegate tasks and accountabilities, establish work schedules, supervise staff and monitor and evaluate performance.

• Several years of working experience in Operations.
• Ability to manage and develop people enabling a high collaboration between all departments.
• Strong knowledge of all PERI Systems and reporting tools.
• Proven management, intercultural and social competence.
• Practical knowledge of cost control and management.
• Objective-orientated and ability to lead in a result-oriented manner.
• Strong work ethic, open and reliable.
• Trustworthy and honest.
• Good knowledge of MS office.
• Fluent in English.
