Job Description:
Responsible for the effective transportation of room and F&B linen, colleagues uniforms and guest clothing required to meet the daily operational needs of the department and the guests


  • Reports for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
  • Ensure the uniform / linen needs of the housekeeping are met.
  • Ensure collection and delivery of uniform / linen is done in a timely fashion ensuring the correct handling to avoid damage.
  • Ensure the uniform needs of the hotel are met.
  • Ensure collection and delivery of uniforms / linen is done in a timely fashion ensuring the correct handling to avoid damage.
  • Ensure the guest laundry needs are met.
  • Ensure collection and delivery of guest clothing is done in a timely fashion ensuring the correct handling to avoid damage.
  • All operational duties are met on each shift.
  • All additional operational duties given by Manager are accomplished while on shift.
  • Contribute in briefings.
  • Maintain the integrity of the tracking system at all times.
  • Involved in your training schedule to ensure understanding of job functionality.
  • Involved in process improvement of the linen room.
  • To assist laundry department during daily peak periods.
  • Participate in Housekeeping meetings and make suggestions for improvements to the laundry supervisor / Executive Housekeeper.
  • Participates in the multi – skilling philosophy of the department.
  • To respond to changes in the department function as dictated by the Industry, Company and Hotel.
  • Carries out any other requests by the Housekeeping leaders.
  • Monitors and tracks uniform issued to new colleagues.
  • Monitors damage to uniforms and advises the Uniform/Linen supervisor accordingly.
  • Participates in inventories for uniforms / linen every quarter.

Desired Skill & Expertise:

  • 1-year experience in a similar role.
  • Housekeeping background experience is an advantage.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledgeable in Fabrics, Laundry Machinery, Laundry Chemicals.
