Overview of the role:
The primary focus of the role will be to provide technical consultation and advice the Service Advisors while receiving Advanced General Repair (AGR) vehicles by interacting with customers, confirming the symptoms, observing and road testing along with the customers; guide the technicians in repair works to resolve Advanced General Repair concerns to fix these at the first time itself to meet the customer expectation for providing the Best in Town Experience and sustain the brand name in market.
What you will do:
Understand customer concerns for Advance General Repair (AGR) cases and confirm the symptoms to fix the customer concerns in the first time.
Communicate concern resolution to qualify for customer trust and satisfaction and continuously improve the customer experience.
Ensure adherence to warranty process, rules and regulations as stipulated by the Principal to qualify vehicles under Branch Self Approval (BSA) as per the criteria.
Submit Electronic Warranty Approval Request Form (EWARF) submission on a timely basis.
Analyze and communicate technical report result and support Technical Leader with coaching based on the outcome of technical information.
Ensure that all the diagnostic tools and equipment are available, updated and maintained as per distributor tool list and guidelines.
Ensure ongoing audit of diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure optimal efficiency in the workplace.
Ensure compliance with HSSE & 5’S guidelines.
Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) memorandums issued by Head Office or Principal.
Collaborate with Al-Futtaim Automotive Academy (AAA) in the assessment and upskilling of the diagnostic technicians in line with standards.
Support with business need analyses based on work output in the branch.
Provide on-the-job training to technicians.
Required Skills to be successful:
1.- Proficient in English.
2. – Experience as a Diagnostic Master Technician.
3. – Technical knowledge.
4. – Customer and relationship management.
About the Team:
Reporting to the Assistant Service Manager and will work closely with the Workshop team and internal and external stakeholders.
What equips you for the role:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering
7 years of overall experience with automobile dealerships, of which minimum 2 years in a similar role or Diagnostic Master Technician.
Valid Qatar Driving license.
