Store Assistants Job Description
We are looking for Store Assistants with prior experience FMCG Industry.
To be responsible for performing various duties related to stores including Receipts/Transfer/Updating of details in ERP/Control of inventory and other duties allocated by the store’s supervisor in line with the company Goals.
Principal Accountabilities include but not limited to the following:
Receipts and transfer of Goods in ERP
Incoming Log Sheet updating with supplier details.
Assist stores staff in managing assigned inventory controls.
Issues of materials against Issue Vouchers with prompt and accurate updating in ERP
Assist with routine office duties such as typing, filing, record maintenance etc as assigned by the store’s supervisor.
Inspect products on receipt for any visual damages and intimate QC for detailed inspection.
Maintain the store area Neat and clean and follow relevant stores/HSE procedures as applicable.
Handle safely and delicately the items and products in store.
Record data with high accuracy and speed into G.P System
Internal coordination with Procurement/QC/Logistics as needed Provide support to the Store supervisor in implementing programs and execute operational and organizational objectives.
Good knowledge of computers, MS Excel, inventory systems and working knowledge in MS, ERP will be an added advantage.
Energetic and enthusiastic individuals who can work with minimum supervision.
Basic awareness of relevant inventory Control/Stores procedures
Highly organized and efficient in time management.
Must have adequate physical and mental stamina to perform his assigned duties.
Good interpersonal and effective communication skills
Prior experience as a store assistant in a similar role will be preferred.
Any Experience in ERP will be an added advantage.
Diploma in any discipline, bachelor’s degree will be a plus.
