Senior IT Solutions Analyst Job – Qatar Museums Doha

Key Accountabilities:
Role Purpose:
To implement QM’s online SharePoint; assist and develop online and publication technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures all web technologies are delivered efficiently and to a very high standard.
Coaches and mentors other less experienced team members.
Performs cross training and facilitates information sharing among team members.
Collaborates with team members to recommend new software development technologies and development processes.
Designs, develops, implements, documents, and tests changes to an application subsystem.
Understands complex codes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software applications.
Creates more complex prototypes and ensures deliverables are high quality and meet user expectations.
Supports system and integration testing activities. Initiates design reviews for new applications and adheres to software development standards.
Participates in systems planning, scheduling and implementation.
Collaborates with project team to keep projects on schedule by coordinating activities, monitoring project schedules, and costs. Working with application development leads, establishes, maintains, and ensures compliance with standards for development, testing and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Necessary knowledge and skills to be able to do the job:
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Architecture, Object Model, Shared Services, SharePoint Templates and SharePoint Features
Familiarity with SharePoint designer and development using Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath
Knowledge of C# and the .Net Framework
Working knowledge of technical English, Arabic desirable
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to communicate with members of project teams at various levels within the organization.
Must possess excellent problem solving, organization, communication, and leadership skills.

Education and certification requirements:
BA Computer Science, Software Engineering, Programming or similar.
Microsoft Credited SharePoint training.
MA preferred.

Experience required:
6 – 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with web development including XHTML, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS, DOM, XML and XSLT.
Experience building custom solutions in SharePoint 2010, including Web.
Experience in design and development of solutions based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, SharePoint 2010, SharePoint Services 3.0, SharePoint Foundation 2010, SharePoint Server 2013, 2019
Working on SharePoint Designer and InfoPath.
Two years’ experience developing JavaScript, and C++ applications.
Experience with administration of MS SQL Server.
