Operations Manager (MAT cover) job at dmg events Nigeria

PLEASE NOTE: This is a contract opportunity that requires immediate availability to cover for maternity.

Job purpose:
Responsible for the organisation and management of Practical Nigerian Content, December 2023. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and ambitious individual looking to develop within the exhibitions industry.

Key accountabilities:
Point of contact for exhibitors
Day to day tasks to ensure the smooth running of the event
Managing NOG Energy Week 2023
Managing operational budgets
Building good internal and external relationships

Job context:
This role works closely with the event’s operations team to fulfil all operational and logistical elements of PNC 2023, as well as supporting with planning at NOG 2024

Qualifications and experience:
Experience (2+ years minimum) in B2B conferences/ exhibitions or events.
Communication – excellent written English and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Flexibility – required as the post includes some travel and out of hours’ work relating to events.
Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
