The British Menopause Society is hiring!

Due to heightened interest in the menopause, the British Menopause Society is expanding and recruiting a full-time office administrator. We are looking for a motivated team player to join us in our newly refurbished offices in the heart of Marlow.

About us
The British Menopause Society (BMS), the specialist authority for menopause and post reproductive health in the UK, educates, informs and guides healthcare professionals, working in both primary and secondary care, on menopause and all aspects of post reproductive health.

Women’s Health Concern (WHC), the patient arm of the BMS, provides a confidential, independent service to advise, inform and reassure women about their gynaecological, sexual and post reproductive health.

About you
A team player who can work independently using initiative
Self-motivated and willing to learn
Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks
Flexible to changes that may arise on the day
Good IT skills and experience in using Microsoft products
Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service
High attention to detail
Good communicator both oral and written

The role
To provide administrative support in all areas of the business
To be the first point of contact by telephone and email for enquiries from the public, healthcare professionals, media, trustees and medical advisory council
To create mail merge documents and membership communications
To ensure office supplies are maintained
To manage post both inward and outbound
Photocopying, filing and general office duties
