The Tailor is responsible for repairing associates uniforms, guest cloths and all Hotel Department linen. He/she reports directly to the Linen Supervisor/Assistant Laundry Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for; maintaining threads, buttons, needles etc. par levels, organizes and takes inventory of all sewing materials and order supplies as needed, measures and makes or alters uniforms for new employees, make alterations to uniforms as required, re-generate replacement linen from soiled and damaged items, for example, pillow covers and cleaning rags from damaged towels as per instruction, carry out repairs on soft furnishings to extend the life of such items where possible and assist with all linen inventories.
Hotel experience within a luxury environment.
