Scope and Relationships:

Based in Dubai, 80% of Travel to Doha, Qatar. Expected weekly travel 3-4 days of presence in shops. Presence adjusted by business needs overview by Regional Business Manager.
Full L’Oreal portfolio, priority to multi category, acquisitions and skin care brands, Flexible focus to maximize business opportunities allocated by RBM.
All shops in HIA Airport (6 keys shops. 10 access shops. 12 express locations)
Reports to the Regional Business Manager based in Dubai
Internal support teams: marketing, retail experience, maintenance, Retail Education Team, payrolls in Paris HQ, trainers and analyst in Dubai HQ.
External support teams: operations, merchandiser, training, buyer, logistics and marketing in Qatar Duty Free.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commercial and Client Partnership – 35%:

Responsible for the sales performance of full L’Oreal Portfolio with RBM
Maximize portfolio complementarity by cross selling plan between brands
Adapt trade plan with RBM to achieve targets
Follow up, set up and monitor promotions, incentives and animations (stocks. GWP’s. promoters) overview with RBM
Stock Analysis and anticipation of seasonal needs to request for orders monthly and feed the RBM
Weekly reporting to the RBM and monthly overview with RBM and Area Manager
Report competition investments on animations, incentives, promotions, staffing to HBM.
Support negotiations and follow up of additional spaces, stocks, prices, deliveries, listing of launches, claims and promotions to RBM.
Maintain and develop strong relationships of QDFstakeholders to implement local trade plans and enrich business knowledge
Become an industry and market expert with customer specifities d
Monitor and report flights evolutions, customer profiling and customer trends
Management – Coach, Motivate, Inspire and Grow – 30%
Lead, manage and coach teams to achieve sales targets and group ambitions
Set, communicate and ensure the monthly, weekly targets and objectives. Report results for commission systems update overviewed with RBM
Incentives and Promoter plan co-creation with HBM. Activate, follow up and report
Monitor, report and follow up on BAs to performances and competencies to build a specific and personal plan to grow and develop skills
Grow the sales academy program
Recruit, introduce, follow up. motivate and change beauty advisors
BA and promoters efficient zoning allocation to follow up opportunities by shop, brand by shift
Defend and grow the ONE L’Oreal group culture through collaboration
Structure, file and update the Mach 2 platform
Mystery shopper team preparation to level up the results
Merchandising and Marketing – Retail Excellence Obsession – 25%
Lead the retail excellence battle by implementing the right assortment for evolving customers, merchandisers, POS, testers, grids, visuals, planograms and services according to each brand plans
Ensure constant renovation of brand image by anticipating, ordering and following up of POS and tools
Bi-monthly retail excellence alignment check list with HQ retail excellence department
Furniture and merch maintenance requests, follow ups and closure
Local specific animation and work with merchandising QDF team to implement visibility
Propose new brand opportunities
Operational excellence coordinating O+O+O events and animation activations

Train – 5%

Adapt learning material to customer specificities with support from the RED teams and regional trainers
Collaborate and fuel QDF trainer teams’ materials for BA platforms, GS and newcomers
Implement Retail and service excellence “capsules” to teams and QDF merchandisers on L’Oreal Retail Excellence and Winner
Fuel teams with the market, brand values “Hot news” products complementarity
Develop the Leadership program
Finance – Manage and Control Budgets to Maximize it – 5%
Travel and Function Budget
Training (2X year) and Budget
Incentives, Promoters, Animation budgets allocated by the RGM

KPIs:

Sell out evolution by brand, by shift, by BA
Mystery shopper rate
Retail Excellence Rate and Bi-monthly review with HQ (Updates Visuals, POS, Grids, Testers…_
Beauty Tech active rate
FOCUS retail application updated
Number of coaching’s per quarter (New Staff, category experts)
Number (%) of BAs trained and Active on MBC.
Number and additional sales of local animations
Number of New Top Sales Academies Programs (TOP sellers, TOP category sellers, TOP college, upscale)

REQUIREMENTS:

5 to 7 years experience in training (multi cat) management over 40 BAs, sales and retail
Entrepreneurial profile: Dynamic, Independent, Organized Leadership
Excellent relationship and communication skills
Problem solver and Process Builder
International Profile with fast adaptability
Available to travel: 80% / 20% in Home/Office in Dubai
