Could you be the full-time Infrastructure Maintenance Manager in Dubai, UAE we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Nizar Azzabi – Deputy Project Manager, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.
As a key member, the Infrastructure Maintenance Manager is the leader of the Infrastructure Maintenance execution team for the Dubai Tram Maintenance contract. His scope of work includes all the following subsystems: TRACK, PDS, APS, OCS, DEQ, AFC and PSD.

Your key responsibilities are:
To Supervise and organize the Infrastructure team in order to meet and achieve contractual performance of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety.
To achieve all contractual KPI related to the O&M manuals and Maintenance plan.
To Carry out due diligence within and during Infrastructure activities in agreement with management.
To ensure onsite intervention readiness at all time to intervene on infrastructure issues impacting service.
To Ensure critical issues are identified proactively and professionally addressed and followed up.
To Participate to all internal and external infrastructure related meeting then follow up reporting and configuration change rules & process by using the proper tools.
To chair and lead the monthly technical meetings related to your subsystems and the associated minute of meeting.
Report with transparency, the status of your subsystems and its KPIs to the management, as and when required.
To Monitor working practices and environment to ensure that people and facilities meet all requirements.
To Attend customer and operator meetings and maintain Alstom position.
To Respond to Customer correspondence in line with contractual requirements.
To Ensure work is performed in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act, Rules and Regulations, AZDP, Railway Group Standards, TOC Safety Case, ALSTOM group Policies and Procedures & Code of Ethics.
To support EHS by being accountable for the proper implementation of the Alstom policy and Customer requirements by all stakeholders (internal & external) including suppliers and contractors. Use and promote Close Call Reporting.
To Maintain adequate level of team knowledge.
To Make sure that teams have adequate Tools and Materials to perform their tasks.
To Highlight and anticipate any potential shortage of Spare Parts.
To Initiate, coordinate and support continuous improvement activities within the workshop related to APS, AFC, DEQ and PSD repair center.
To Provide information for continuous improvement of Maintenance Method statement.
To Ensure proper frequent communication with Customer.
To Liaise with suppliers for technical workshops if required to achieve a better performance or improve the current systems.
To Ensure that Maintenance activities are carried out in timely, logical and cost effective manners and follow the Maintenance plan requirements.
To Ensure efficient allocation of resources to execute the day to day planning with constant monitoring of hours allocation, staff assiduity/attendance, overtime, rosters, annual leave, etc.
Ensure all Maximo records are kept updated and with the required level of information to ensure traceability of information.
To ensure Budget management and budget adherence.
To Improve the depot efficiency by implementing industrialisation methods (LEAN method and APSYS).

Our Key requirements are:
Master’s degree in Management, Mechanical, electrical, Industrial or related Engineering field.
8 to 12 years’ experience in Maintenance Management, Overhaul Management, with expertise specifically in Track, exposure to other subsystems is a plus.
Coordination and Team Management abilities
Previous supervision and team leading experience in a multicultural team
Good knowledge of railway systems
Conflict management and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of railway maintenance requirements and costs
Resilience and sense of the hard work.
Fluent in english
French and Arabic speaking are a must for coordination with client representative as well as ALSTOM design authorities.
Availability for quick start in the UAE is a plus.
