Help Desk Engineer Job Description:
Serves as the point of contact for customers who require technical support.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software or hardware.
Identifying the best solution for the user’s problem.
Confirmation with the user, complete resolution of the issue.
Identifying and suggesting possible improvements to work procedures.
Equipment, software and license inventory.
Help onboard new employees.
Experience as a Help Desk Engineer or any other role related to user support.
A good level of understanding of information systems, mobile devices and other technology products.
A good level of understanding of the TCP/IP network protocol stack.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Good communication skills.
