Overview of the role:
The Head of Marketing Communications & Planning is responsible for leading & steering all Al-Futtaim Automotive brands’ marketing strategy, planning & campaign development.
Through functional management of key Brands’ Marketing Communications manager, He/She will secure that all brands are complying with the central marketing team’s guidelines & templates relating to activities’ planning & budget management.
He/She will also have direct management of 3 marketing managers where the responsibility will be to define & execute marketing strategy & plan for their respective brands/divisions
What you will do:
Marketing Communications governance:
Define, implement and upkeep centralized strategic & planning guidelines, campaign development process and budget tracking tools
Define, set and lead the required review & decision meetings with relevant stakeholders in the central & brands teams as well as external agencies
Annual Marketing Strategy & Plan development:
Support brands & external agencies to develop their strategy & plan
Guide, challenge & validate input from pre-briefing until final delivery
Media Agency management:
Overall media strategy/planning (annual/quarterly)
Centralization of key offline spends (Outdoor/Radio)
Campaign development process management:
Quarterly tactical / ad-hoc
Brand campaign / model launch campaign
Responsible to secure compliance to the central process & retro-planning for all campaigns
Marketing Managers as direct reports:
Day-to-day management, support & coaching
Secure delivery on key marketing & business targets
Establish B2B marketing capabilities to support all brands on their requirements (industrial equipment division, fleet, aftersales, …)

About the Team:
In this position you will be working in a fast paced and diverse Automotive environment. You will be reporting directly to the GM Marketing
What equips you for the role:
Business qualification with a strong understanding of operational & commercial marketing
Minimum Experience: 8-10 years relevant marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years in the automotive industry.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills essential.
Strong organizational skills with effective follow-through capability is important.
Needs to be fully proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
