A well-reputed global consultancy with incredible staff retention is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join them as they look to further grow their in-house development function. This role is part of a wider expansion plan and investment in technology services and would be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to play a key role in how their internal & external applications are developed. The role offers hybrid working, but a very flexible model to suit personal circumstances.

What you’ll be doing
Joining a talented Agile team, you’ll play an integral part in the development of various in-house software applications & databases, some of which are Greenfield. You will support the build of these bespoke apps from the ground up before looking to add new features & functionalities, ensuring that you code in a sustainable way to provide a maintainable development environment as the team grows. Ideally you’ll offer a keen eye for process automation and data management as this is a big focus for the team moving forward. Most applications are on MS Azure but any experience using Google would be useful as well. Ideally, you’ll be comfortable designing and building relational SQL databases, offering a good understanding of data warehousing.

What skills you’ll need

  • Commercial C# experience with knowledge of .Net 6+.
  • Well-versed in TypeScript and CSS frameworks.
  • Significant SQL skills, query writing, creating relational databases, table design, stored procedures etc.
  • Preference for back-end development, working with Microservices, appreciating importance of data.
  • Knowledge of at least one cloud platform, preferably Azure.
  • Familiarity of Azure’s offerings, including Functions, Event Hubs, Storage etc.
  • Any awareness of data pipelines such as Databricks or Data Factory would be useful.
  • Ability to test your own work.
  • Experience with Git/TFS source control and Agile.
