Responsibilities

  • The Hotel Manager coordinates and manages the day-to-day operations of the hotel and attends and participate in all Planning Committee meetings and events
  • Being a member of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel, focusing on the Rooms Division, the Food and Beverage Division and the Spa.
  • Ensure all Four Seasons Hotel Policies and Procedures are followed.
  • Provide leadership and management for all operational hotel personnel: directly for two key management personnel and indirectly for management, non-management personnel.
  • Implement action plans to correct problems identifies in Operations Standards Surveys (e.g. LQA and Employee Voice Surveys).
  • Accepts responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of the hotel guests and employees.
  • Respond appropriately in the event of any hotel emergency or safety situation and comply with all local codes and ordinances with a focus on guest and employee safety.
  • Represent the hotel to civic, business, industry and local government.

Requirement

  • Previous experience in a Hotel Manager role is preferred
  • Proficiency in English is a must
  • Knowledge of fluent Arabic will an advantage
  • High degree of analytical abilities
  • Proven record of building strong relationships with all stake holders
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Travel is required for training, conferences and recruitment
