MAIN PURPOSE

The Deputy Retail Manager will support the Retail Area Sales Manager in the execution and implementation of the local Retail strategy in the internal boutiques located within the network.

He/She will be in charge of the day-to-day activity within our internal boutiques and responsible implementing optimisation tools linked to people and business development.

The Deputy Retail Manager is a key stakeholder in the commercial activities of the Maison in the UAE, actively contributing to numerous discussions and innovative projects over all Retail touchpoints experience in the UAE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Strategy & Sales Achievements

  • Based on the Maison’s commercial strategy, on a solid performance analysis, a review of capabilities and environment context, he/she assists the Retail Area Sales Manager with the definition of the network performance strategy in the internal boutiques of the network
  • Guarantees the implementation of the network strategy throughout the internal boutique network through regular boutique visits and close communication with all stakeholders, providing regular reports to the Retail Area Sales Manager and Commercial Director
  • Support and follow up with the boutiques management teams the implementation, and monitoring of the boutiques’ commercial Action Plans.
  • Proposes & supervises boutique KPIs, ensuring regular follow up through the boutique dashboard & boutique visits.
  • Participates to the construction of the sales budget, quarterly sales estimation review and weekly / monthly updates with the Retail Area Sales Manager to be communicated to HQ.

Retail People Development

  • Support the Area Sales manager in the staffing optimization to ensure the full network coverage according to traffic and peak seasons, developing and improving the tool.
  • Strives for operational excellence within all boutiques and proactively works with the Boutique Management teams to improve their knowledge and business acumen
  • Animates or contribute to key communities within the network, such as but not exclusively to, High-End academy, High-End community, Back Office academy,Team Leaders, CS and Operations departments, Jade Club, Red Club

Retail Project Management and Business Activations

  • Lead and Monitor the development and realization of all projects and activations linked to the global Retail Transformation and Innovation to ensure the UAE network to be a First-In-Class Retailer ( STAGE, HJ Hub, My Rdvs, My Atlas, MyClients, Business Clubs, Watch Clubs…)
  • Contributes to the commercial implementation and success of all tactical and local events and business activations with marketing and client departments ( HJ events, Pop UP, ephemeral boutiques…)
  • Support the Retail Area Sales Manager in the realization of all documents to Network development, such as but not exclusively CAR, NSF or Boutique Brief.

JOB PROFILE

Education:
College degree is preferred in a related and applicable field.

Required experience:
Minimum five to seven years of successful sales and project management with global luxury goods company or equivalent customer service oriented business
Knowledge of retail mandatory (management of teams’ and customers’ experience)

Technical skills / abilities:
Computer skills including: Word, Excel, and Power Point are a must.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
