Abay Insurance S.C. was established in July 2010 in accordance with the licensing and supervision of insurance business proclamation No. 86/1994.The prevailing paid up capital of the company is Birr 180,000,000. Currently, the company is providing General and Long Term (Life Assurance) service under 30 branch offices that operate in different regions of the country.The number of branches will be periodically increased to reach to 37 by 2020/21.

The company has registered a remarkable growth since establishment and has managed to build a sustainable and fruitful business relationship with various types of clients having a multitude of activities. The company has a strong financial base and has created a meaningful network with global partners including prominent re insurers that would easily manage risks of any quantum.

Position 1: Main Cashier

Education: Diploma Accounting or related field of studies.

Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience.

Position 2: Senior Network Administration Officer

Education: B.SC/M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field of studies.

Experience: 5/4 years of relevant work experience.

Desirable: Huawei Certified network professional (HCNP) Certification and hands on experience on Firewall/Network security is highly advantageous

Position 3: Senior System Analyst/Programmer Officer

Education: B.SC/M.Sc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information System or related field of studies.

Experience: 5/4 years of relevant work experience.

Desirable: Great Software development/Programming skill. PL/SQL Script writing experience and at least 2 Years hands on experience on core insurance system is highly advantageous.

Position 4: Senior System Administration Officer

Education: B.SC/M.Sc in Computer Science, Information System, Software Engineering or related field of studies.

Experience: 5/4 years of relevant work experience.

Desirable: MCSA/MCSP Certification and hands on experience on Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 Administration. At least 2 years of experience on core insurance system is highly advantageous.

Position 5: Manager, Systems and Support Division

Education: B.SC/M.Sc in Computer Science, Information System or Software Engineering or related field of studies.

Experience: 8/6 years of relevant work experience.

Desirable: Oracle Database 12c/19c professional certification, Great Software development/ Programming and Oracle database experience, PL/SQL Script writing experience and at least 3 years hands on experience on core insurance system is highly advantageous.
