About the Role:
Supply & Inventory Planner is part of inventory control team in Global Aftersales for Al Futtaim Automotive. The team is responsible for balancing the inventory cost with service level as per business recommendation.
Supply & Inventory planner is responsible for purchasing of inventory parts from respective vendors for Global aftersales division. This is achieved by periodic release of purchase orders to assigned vendors based on the sales trend, forecast, market information and business recommendations. The purpose of the role is to improve the stock turnover by reducing the risk of excess & obsolete stock.
About You:
An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills:
- Degree or any related education in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering and Logistics
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience in a multinational environment.
- 2+ years of hands-on work experience using analytical tools like Tableau, Power BI & Alrteryx to solve real world problems preferably knowledge on material management
- Exceptional communication skills, especially around translating technical knowledge into forms that can be digested by leadership and non-technical project teams
- Strong MS packages knowledge with excellent PowerPoint skills is a must
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly adaptable with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organizational abilities
